Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) is a highly specialized branch of the Airports Authority of India (AAI). The Junior Assistant (Fire Services) is responsible for responding to aircraft emergencies, managing the massive Panther fire crash tenders, and conducting daily safety inspections on the tarmac.
Eligibility and Strict Physical Standards
Qualification: 10th Pass + 3 years approved regular Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Fire OR 12th Pass (Regular Study). A valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (HVDL) is absolutely mandatory.
Physical Standards: This job has strict physical requirements regarding height, chest expansion, and flawless vision (6/6 in both eyes without glasses).
Salary: The starting gross salary is approximately ,45,000 per month.
