The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) operates one of the most advanced and largest metro networks in the world. The role of a Junior Engineer (JE) is vital in ensuring that the trains run on time, the electrical substations do not fail, and the complex CBTC signalling system works flawlessly.

This is a supervisory technical role. You will be managing a team of maintainers (ITI holders) and working in night shifts (shadow block hours) to inspect tracks and electrical lines when the passenger service is closed.

Eligibility and Salary

Educational Qualification: DMRC strictly hires candidates with a 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Civil, or Mechanical) from a recognized institute. B.Tech holders without a diploma are generally not eligible for JE posts, though this rule can vary in some specific drives.

Age Limit: 18 to 28 years.

Salary: The basic pay scale for a DMRC JE is ,37,000 - ,1,15,000. The starting gross salary is approximately ,50,000 per month, which includes perks like night shift allowances and DMRC smart card travel benefits.
