Eligibility & Pay

Design/Manufacturing Engineers: BE/BTech with 60%+ in the relevant discipline. Age up to 28 years.

Pay Scale: E1 grade (,40,000–,1,40,000). Gross monthly salary with all allowances: ,55,000–,65,000. Diploma Apprentice Stipend: ,12,000–,14,000/month. Graduate Apprentice Stipend: ,16,000–,20,000/month. HAL provides accommodation (or HRA), free medical for self and family, performance incentives, LTC, children's education support, and canteen subsidies.

Selection Process

For Engineers: Online Written Test (Technical Aptitude + General Awareness + Reasoning) → Technical InterviewHR InterviewMedical Examination. The written test is highly technical and requires strong engineering fundamentals in aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, avionics, or manufacturing engineering depending on your discipline.

For Apprentices: Merit-based on academic scores → Trade Test (for Diploma Apprentices) → Document Verification.
