Role of an IndiGo Cabin Crew Member
Cabin crew are responsible for the safety and comfort of all passengers aboard every IndiGo flight. Their primary responsibility is safety - not service, though service is equally important. Core duties include conducting pre-flight safety checks (emergency exits, oxygen masks, life jackets, fire extinguishers), demonstrating emergency procedures, ensuring compliance with aviation safety regulations, managing emergency situations (medical, turbulence, evacuation), serving meals and beverages, and managing cabin environment. IndiGo cabin crew also handle passenger queries, boarding assistance, and in-flight announcements. The role requires exceptional composure under pressure, excellent communication in English and Hindi, and a genuine passion for customer service.
