Roles Available
Trade Apprentice (Fitter): Assembly of car body components, engine fitting, quality checks on assembly line.
Trade Apprentice (Electrician): Electrical assembly, wiring harness fitting, ECU programming support, and electrical testing.
Trade Apprentice (Welder): Spot welding of body panels using robotic and manual welding equipment in the body shop.
Trade Apprentice (Electronics Mechanic): Assembly and testing of electronic components, dashboard systems, and ADAS sensors.
Trade Apprentice (Painter): Vehicle paint booth operations, primer and topcoat application, and quality inspection using automated painting robots.
Eligibility & Stipend
Educational Qualification: ITI certificate in the relevant trade (Fitter, Electrician, Welder, Electronics Mechanic, Painter) from an NCVT/SCVT-recognized institute. 10th pass is also required as a pre-condition.
Age: 18 to 26 years.
Stipend: ,12,000–,14,000 per month depending on the trade and year of apprenticeship. Accommodation assistance, uniform, canteen subsidies, and transport from designated pickup points are also provided during the apprenticeship period.
Selection Process
Step 1 – Online Application and shortlisting based on ITI marks and academic record. Step 2 – Aptitude Test: A written test covering trade-specific technical knowledge, basic mathematics, and reasoning. Step 3 – Physical Fitness Test: Color blindness check and general physical assessment (required for production floor work). Step 4 – Document Verification. No interview is conducted for apprentice-level recruitment - performance in the written test and academic record determine selection.
