Those posted onshore in Gujarat (Ahmedabad/Vadodara), Assam (Jorhat/Sibsagar), or Rajasthan (Jodhpur/Barmer) work in well-equipped base offices with excellent facilities. Offshore postings on Mumbai High platforms follow a 28-days-on/28-days-off rotation schedule (known as "on-rotation" duty) with all food, accommodation, and travel covered by ONGC. This makes offshore posting both adventurous and financially very rewarding. ONGC's CSR initiatives, internal learning programs, and sabbatical policies make it an outstanding employer.
