Eligibility Criteria

Salary Details

Undergraduate posts fall under Level 2 (,19,900) and Level 3 (,21,700) pay matrices. Graduate posts fall under Level 5 (,29,200) and Level 6 (,35,400). When combined with Dearness Allowance (DA), HRA, TA, and other Railways allowances, the total monthly salary for a Station Master can go up to ,55,000 per month in metropolitan cities. Exam Pattern

Stage 1 CBT (100 marks, 90 mins): General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence & Reasoning. Stage 2 CBT (120 marks, 90 mins): More advanced and tests subject-specific knowledge. Typing Skill Test: For typist posts only. Computer Based Aptitude Test: For Station Masters only. Then final Document Verification and Medical Examination.
